20th Annual Flatlander / BST Event

    The night before wouldn't be one to remember for Belec and the 3b team after running in the transfer spot in the qualifier and blowing a right rear tire but Sunday was a new day and another chance to get into the big show. After starting second in his heat race, he dropped in line and finished right where he started giving him a good starting spot in the qualifying main.

    Taking the green flag from the pole position in the qualifier would be just what the team needed as he pulled away but with just a few laps to go coming up on a lapped car, Eddie went to the outside to go by and got out of the groove and was passed for the lead. Having the same thing happen to the leader in the very next corner would give the 3b Taylor Modified the lead back and he scored the win ensuring a spot in the feature.
   
The A feature got under way and the race track continued to be one lane and after running a caution free twenty five laps, Belec crossed the line in tenth at the checkered flag. A much needed top ten finish for the team in the seventy-five plus car field for the day.
