Belec get's first win of the season!

      The pole position is where the 3b Taylor Modified took the green flag from to start the day and a hard fought battle with the 15 of Angie Hayes took place for all eight laps. After falling back to second early, Belec reeled Hayes back in with three laps to go and a door to door finish saw the 3b come up just short in second, but none the less gaining a spot in the re-draw for the feature.

    The draw has not been good to Eddie for the most part of the year but today was different. The race track held some moisture and was fairly fast for the entire race. Starting on the outside pole next to Hayes who earlier had just edged him out in the heat race, would prove to be a great spot. After taking the lead on the third lap, Belec held off some pressure from the 33 of Nick Engen on a few restarts and took the win. A much needed first win of 09' for the 3b and the fifth of the season for Arvada X Motorsports.
