With Holyoke being shortened to a 3/8 mile, teams were
anxious and ready for the opening night. With much rain in the area throughout
the day, it was a race against time to get the complete show in. A caution free
heat race and a third starting spot was just what the 3b needed as Eddie was
able to get up to the second spot behind teammate Dominic Ursetta and the Arvada
X Motorsports team came across the line one two.
Drawing the seventh starting spot for the feature was another pleasant surprise
for Belec and with a rain shortened, eleven lap race, he was able to gain a
couple spots and finish fifth. With four top ten finishes in a row the 3b team
seems to have a little momentum building up as the season nears the month of
June.
