A little bit better pill draw put the 3b starting third row inside in the heat race, but very slimy conditions held Eddie to a fifth place finish after the short eight lap race.

    Starting inside of the sixth row in the feature was a tough task as the 3b was only able to pick up two positions in the 20-lap feature. Finishing 13th was not what the team needed and will hopefully make for that much more motivation as the 2009 season starts its second month of action.
